Britaney R. Garrett is an associate in the firm's Litigation Section. Ms. Garrett is a value-driven litigator, committed to delivering strategic advice, personalized solutions, and steadfast advocacy to her clients. Britaney hails from an entrepreneurial background and has firsthand knowledge of the impact regulation, legislation, and litigation can have on business objectives. To that end, she takes a holistic approach to her cases, learning the specifics of each client's business, and providing results that address immediate legal needs, as well as long-term goals.
Before joining the firm, Britaney worked closely with state and federal judges on a wide range of civil and administrative matters as a judicial law clerk. This experience gave her invaluable insight into the judicial decision-making process, which she rallies on behalf of clients involved in state and federal litigation. Ms. Garrett's clerkship experience also firmly imbued her with the value of compelling brief writing and sophisticated legal analysis, which are the cornerstones of her practice.
Britaney received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law in 2012, where she competed on a quarterfinalist national moot court team and was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board. Prior to attending law school, she studied Spanish at Catholic University of Argentina and graduated from Pepperdine University with a B.A. in Sociology.
